A GUIDE TO THE SITE 

This site presents a partial overview of my work over fifty (50) years.
My work is a contexture of writing, illustrating, editing and promotion of reading among children all over Israel. 

WRITING (over 40 books),

ILLUSTRATING hundreds of books including my books and books of other as well as educational booklets, games, several children magazines and various elements in newspapers, and three volumes of the Hebrew Encyclopedia;

EDITING children books, as well as a Children's magazines for 12 years;

PROMOTING READING among children by participated in various programs in Israel intended to promote reading books by young people and conducting writing workshops and meetings with children and parents around the country.  I visited classes as "guest writer" and explained the process of creating a book from the idea to the finished product, gave interactive lecture in schools and seminars on the sources of inspiration, use of vocabulary, styling and illustrating.

I wrote ARTICLES on many aspects of children Literature as well as BOOK CRITICS on children books in magazines for teachers.

For my creative work in Children Literature I won the Ministry of Culture Prize for 2010.
